SD-7077 is superspreading and superwetting agent based on a trisiloxane ethoxylate. Typically, SD-7077 (at 0.1 wt%) gives an aqueous surface tension around 20.5 mN/m, But conventional spray adjuvants gives a surface tension of only 30 mN/m. SD-7077 can help lower the aqueous surface tension more effectively. Under specific conditions, SD-7077 promotes rapid uptake of agrochemicals into plants via stomatal infiltration. Spray solutions taken into plants become rainfast, thereby improving application reliability. SD-7077 is nonionic in nature, making it useful with a broad range of agrochemicals.
